How do I book a luxury picnic experience?
Booking is simple! Just head over to our Book Online page, choose your preferred setup, and select an available date. We’ll follow up with a confirmation email within 1-2 business days and confirm all the details for your event.
What happens if there is bad weather on my picnic day?
We closely monitor the weather leading up to your booking. In the event of rain or high winds, we will contact you at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule your experience within five days or discuss alternative indoor venue options. Please note that refunds are not available.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellations made at least 1 week prior to your scheduled picnic will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged for the full price of the picnic booked.
Which locations do you serve on Prince Edward Island?
Our primary locations include Matos Winery, Tea Hill Park in Stratford, Victoria Park in Charlottetown, Tracadie Harbour, and Deep Roots Distillery. However, we love exploring all that the Island has to offer and are happy to set up at your preferred beach, park, or even your own backyard upon request.

Can we bring our own food or supplemental snacks?
Absolutely! While our packages include a curated charcuterie board, you are more than welcome to bring any additional food or special dietary items you’d like to enjoy during your time with us.
What is the maximum group size you can accommodate?
Our standard packages are designed for 2 to 10 guests. For larger groups, corporate events, or community gatherings, please contact us directly so we can provide a custom layout and quote.
Do you handle custom event requests like proposals or parties?
We specialize in making special moments unforgettable! Whether it's a surprise proposal, bridal shower, or milestone birthday, we can customize decor and themes to match your vision.
Can we bring our own alcohol to our picnic?
You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol to your picnic; however, please note that alcohol is not permitted in many public parks and beaches. You are fully responsible for following all local laws, and Red Island Picnics & Events is not liable for any issues, fines, or incidents that may arise from bringing alcohol.
What happens if there is damage to the setup?
We kindly ask that you treat all picnic items and decor with care. Any damage, excessive staining, or loss of items caused by neglect or misuse will be assessed and charged to the client after the event.
Can I leave the picnic unattended?
We kindly ask that the picnic area not be left unattended. If you wish to finish your picnic early, please contact our decorator to let them know your preferred end time, and they will return to take care of the teardown.
What happens if we are late to the picnic?
If you anticipate being late for your picnic, please call us as soon as possible to notify our team, as our decorators will be onsite awaiting your arrival. Please note that your picnic will begin at the scheduled time, and any late arrival will result in a reduced picnic duration.
Are There Options for Persons With Mobility Issues?
Yes, we absolutely do! We understand that traditional low picnic seating isn’t comfortable or accessible for everyone, so we’re happy to offer elevated seating options for guests who may have mobility challenges or simply prefer a higher, more supported seating arrangement.
